Prayer requests

We currently have almost 90 people around the diocese of Paisley who have volunteered to pray for the needs of the diocese and beyond.  We commit to pray in our own time each week and suggest we pray on  Friday morning if that is suitable but any time that works.

Thanksgiving for my granddaughter Isabelle Anne’s heart operation to have been a success.

• For the people of Ukraine and Russia and an immediate end to the conflict
• For Bishop John, all priests, deacons and seminarians in the diocese.
• For all brothers and sisters in religious orders in the diocese
• For the diocesan response to the Synod of Bishops on Synodality in the Life and Mission of the church

• Please pray for Elma in her fight against cancer and for her family
• For my daughter in law Laura, a young mother who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  Please pray for treatment and a good recovery.
• For success in being offered a job after a good interview.
• For the repose of the soul of Fr Andrew Coleman.  May he rest in peace.  And for his family
• For Louise who has just had part of her pancreas removed and is awaiting results.
• For David, a young father whose cancer has now spread to both eyes.  May his treatment be successful.
• For Kemo who is fighting lung cancer
• For a good strong defence in court, that God would uphold my case and release me from charges
• Praying for family intentions and for a special friend who is seriously ill
• Please pray for my two granddaughters who both have spinal problems that they will receive their treatments soon
• For all our retired priests, deacons and religious, that God will grant them peace and happiness in their retirement.
• Please pray for Jim(74) who recently had a brain tumour removed and his recovery to full health
• For Tatiana, to discern her new job prospects
• For healing of my eyes and for a new job
• For my niece's son and daughter to stop taking drugs
